About the Class:
Deep inside the mysteries of the ocean, there are magical souls of the sea. They swim freely amongst the depths of the aquatic oasis, meandering around the pods of plant life and other beautiful creatures as the swift currents and bubbles of change pass by.

During this intuitive art class, you could discover the true mermaid (or merman – guys are always welcomed to join us!) that resides in you. Connect to the magical, fluid being with a simple visualization exercise and then paint that vision onto a canvas. If you get stuck, no worries. Help will soon be on the way :=) Absolutely no experience is necessary, just a desire to have some playful fun with paint. And there is no wrong way to paint – use your fingers, a brush, a feather... whatever makes you happy. Your mermaid/man painting will be a unique expression of you, of your soul. Everyone's painting will look differently from the others because, well, everyone's soul is unique.

Every part of the class (paint party) is done step-by-step as a group. Of course, if you want to blaze ahead, more power to you. Ellie will teach you simple painting techniques - like colorwash backgrounds, creating bubbles, color mixing, and more!

So come try something new and different. Have fun, let loose, and tap into your heart and soul. Meet some new friends. Feel the freedom to express yourself creatively. Trust the process as you learn to trust yourself.

All materials and supplies (including an 11" x 14" canvas) are included. This intuitive art class (paint party) lasts for approximately 90 minutes.

NOTE: Class size is small so everyone can receive individualized attention to paint their Mermaid/man in their own style.
